“BONGO KANNY” a.k.a. Aaron Kedar is a singjay artist that is fast gaining recognition and prominence within the Roots Reggae scene. A. Kedar combines social commentary with a refreshing personal analysis. A gifted artist with a radical, militant edge to his music A. Kedar writes most of his own material. He is possibly the first of a new breed of UK Rastafarian artist capable of the type and pace of delivery that will leave his predecessors cold in their tracks. His first release ‘ Green ‘ recorded by Ruff Cutt made a significant impact with Dancehall music fans and emerged later on the ‘ Ruff Cutt 2000 ‘ compilation CD. A former member of the Suncycle Crew A. Kedar is featured on their 2002 album. He has recorded numerous Dub plates and specials for various sound systems around London and is highly rated by other London and Jamaican DJ’s artists. Aaron Kedar is set to blaze a new trail in the annals of Reggae music folklore all of his own. Aaron Kedar was a guest at the Riverside Studios in London, where he performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The only other artist to have done this being Reggae legend John Holt. He was also a supporting artist with Foxy Brown/Babysham at The Stratford Rex where he exploded onto the stage and tore through a set that captivated and excited the audience. Truely a force to be reckoned with.
